Don't you just love the fall? All the leaves are changing and the yards are an explosion of color: borders bursting with MUMS! That is one beautiful flower. They come back year after year bigger and better than ever!
If you have them in your fall displays or inside the home and forget to water... do not despair! Most will fully recover with just a few spent blooms if you just immerse the pot in water for about an hour. Just run a bucket full or a sink with tepid water and immerse. It will return to a beautiful, happy mum!
When your displays are over, before freezing weather settles on us here in the South, remember to plant your mums and save those plastic pots! Return them to the nursery or reuse them yourself with your saved seeds next Spring.
