Using those plastic bottles

I like to think of creative ways to reuse plastic bottles. For large plants like tomatoes that need watering from the roots you can cut the bottom off a 2 liter bottle, remove the cap and bury the bottle in the soil next to the plant. Fill it up with water and the pressure will let it become a self watering tool for you. It is great to dig up, clorox and save for the next year. It's great in a garden. Any size garden and you do not have to feel guilty drinking your 2 liter soda!

I have found a few resources that still sell milk in glass bottles. I buy my milk in them, and keep for later use. I make sugar free pink lemonade or tea in these glass containers and save on the plastic refuse in the landfill! They are dishwasher safe and come with a reusable lid. Just one more good way to save on your carbon footprint!

Living green doesn't have to be hard, time consuming or space demanding. Just thoughtful little ways to make a difference. One person, one act at a time makes a substantial improvement for the world! Thanks to everyone who wants to have a cleaner, greener world for us and our future generations!
